We wish to take this opportunity
to introduce to you TAPESTRY of Women©2005.
TAPESTRY of Women was founded in 2005 and is one of the greatest initiatives that God has entrusted
to me. TAPESTRY is the ministry branch of Jeanette Phelps Ministry. We are moving forward in our mission to women
as we “In Reach and Out Reach” to help “reconnect the fabrics of their lives”.
Our “In Reach Mission” is when we meet in small or large group venues and to provide
a safe and personal time of spiritual sharing and fun fellowship. We call these “SPA” meetings which is the acronym
for Safe Place of Acceptance. Each meeting has an inspirational theme and these times of sharing have been spiritually impactful
to all who have attended these meetings.
Our “Outreach
Mission” is to inform and empower women by providing vital information on specific health issues that
have affected us personally, those being Breast and Cervical Cancer Multiple Sclerosis, and Heart Disease. TAPESTRY
has selected The Daughters of Zelophehad and Safe Harbor as our Outreach projects for 2009-2010. These Richmond
non-profits work primarily with women and families who are ex-offenders and victims of domestic violence.
You can be a part of this wonderful ministry experience by joining us at one of our events or by hosting
a TAPESTRY meeting for the women in your local church or community. Remember, we do not charge a fee for our services, but we do accept a public love offering to support our ministry.
